बिहार के मुजफ्फरपुर के सदर थाना क्षेत्र के भगवानपुर में 19 साल की नवविवाहिता की संदिग्ध स्थिति में मौत हो गई। उसका शव कमरे में फंदे से लटका मिला। घटना के बाद मोहल्ले में सनसनी फैल गई और स्थानीय लोगों की भीड़ जुट गई। इसके बाद लोगों ने मामले की सूचना सदर पुलिस को दी। सदर थाना पुलिस ने घटनास्थल की जांच की। पीले रंग की साड़ी से फंदा बनाया गया था। कमरे में एस्बेस्टस लगा था। उसकी कुंडी में साड़ी से बने फंदे पर शव लटक रहा था। इसी बीच मायके वाले भी मौके पर पहुंचे। पुलिस ने शव को फंदे से उतारा। पोस्टमार्टम के लिए मेडिकल भेज दिया है। मृतका की पहचान आशा कुमारी के रूप में हुई है। उसका मायका वैशाली जिले के बेरुआ में है, जबकि ननिहाल महुआपोस्टमार्टम रिपोर्ट आने के बाद मौत के कारण का पता चल पाएगा। फिलहाल परिजनों का बयान दर्ज कराने की कवायद की जा रही है।
