हरियाणा के सोनीपत में देर रात 12:05 मिनट पर रोहतक से पहुंचे बम निरोधक दस्ता व डॉग स्क्वाॅड टीम ने ट्रेन की जांच की। दिल्ली से रात 9.01 बजे राजधानी एक्सप्रेस चली थी, सोनीपत स्टेशन पर 9.35 पर रोकी गई थी। इसके बाद 1.59 पर ट्रेन को रवाना किया गया।नई दिल्ली से जम्मू तवी के लिए चली राजधानी एक्सप्रेस (12425) में बम की सूचना पर उसे शुक्रवार रात 9:35 बजे सोनीपत रेलवे स्टेशन पर रोक दिया गया। स्थानीय पुलिस, जीआरपी और आरपीएफ की टीमों के साथ रोहतक से बुलाए गए बम निरोधक दस्ते व डॉग स्क्वाॅड ने ट्रेन की गहन तलाशी शुरू की। देररात 1:59 बजे तक एक-एक बोगी की तलाशी की गई। स्टेशन पर ट्रेन को करीब साढ़े चार घंटे से तक रोका गया।नई दिल्ली रेलवे स्टेशन से रात को 8:40 बजे चलने वाली राजधानी एक्सप्रेस शुक्रवार रात 9:01 बजे नई दिल्ली से जम्मू तवी के लिए चली थी। इसी बीच रेलवे हेडक्वार्टर के कंट्रोल रूम में फोन पर किसी ने सूचना दी कि राजधानी एक्सप्रेस में बम है। आनन-फानन में गाड़ी को रात 9:35 बजे सोनीपत स्टेशन के प्लेटफॉर्म नंबर 4 पर रोकने के बाद आरपीएफ व जीआरपी ने जांच अभियान शुरू किया। एसीपी नरसिंह, शहर थाना प्रभारी देवेंद्र कुमार, जीआरपी प्रभारी महाबीर सिंह व आरपीएफ थाना प्रभारी पुलिस बल के साथ मौके पर पहुंचे। रोहतक से बम निरोधक दस्ता और डॉग स्क्वॉड आने के बाद यात्रियों को बोगी से नीचे उतारकर सघन जांच की गई।ट्रेन से नीचे उतरने पर यात्री भी भयभीत नजर आए। रात 1:59 बजे तक ट्रेन में सघन जांच की गई। एक-एक कर बोगियों से यात्रियों को उतारकर चेकिंग की गई। इसके बाद 1:59 बजे ट्रेन को रवाना कर दिया गया। पुलिस मामले की जांच कर रही हे
